On occasion, that commitment changes, and a person may need or want to change to a different Chapter. Reasons for changing include relocating to another city; the territory has been reassigned; changing jobs to a new classification that is filled in the current Chapter; or a new Chapter opened in a more convenient location. The Member simply resigns from BNI in their current Chapter, opening their classification in that Chapter. They then apply as a New Member in the desired Chapter.
Membership Committee Responsibilities
▢ Process the Membership Application of the changing Member as if they were a New Member of BNI®.
▢ The Region Office will post the payment, the interview and the application for approval or decline in the VP/MC SSS WhatsApp Group.

Responsibilities
Keeps track of upcoming renewals five months in advance.
Review the video interview from the Seven-Month Check-In posted in the VP/MC SSS WhatsApp Group
If you do not receive a Seven-Month Check-In video interview for your Chapter Member, please encourage them to complete the video by clicking on the link in the email automatically sent from the BNI Tampa Portal
Analyzes PALMS data, Traffic Lights Report, and Traffic Lights Evolution and report those findings at the Monthly Chapter Success Meeting to achieve and increase positive results
Present at each Chapter Success Meeting the Seven-Month Check-In documents from the prior month for discussion by Membership Committee
Present at each Chapter Success Meeting the upcoming reviews for discussion by the Membership Committee
Inputs all information into Reporting2You for LT Renewal Meeting & LT Seven-Month Check-In
Monitors the Monthly Take Care Report in Reporting2You and makes recommendations to the Membership Committee, and inputs all notes into Reporting2You

Give clarity to Members about their development in the Chapter from a personal point of view and from the point of view of the Membership Committee
Give clarity to Members about their strengths and development potential
Providing the possibility of corrective changes before the membership renewal date

The Seven-Month Check-In Process includes the following:
Members will be sent an email from the BNI Tampa Portal system asking them to complete a video interview to start their Seven-Month Check-in process.
Once the Region Office receives the video interview it will be posted to the VP/MC SSS WhatsApp Group for review.
If you do not receive a video post for any Member on your list to perform a Seven-Month Check-in with, please ask the Member to complete their video interview. (To view the interview questions, please see below.)
Discussion of the Members that are due to renew in the following five months in the monthly Chapter Success Meeting:
The Membership Committee determines strengths and development potential based on the PALMS Report, Member Training Report, and observable attitude and performance.
If necessary, the Membership Committee appoints a mentor to support the needed development of the Member.
The comments of the Membership Committee are the basis for discussion and will be noted in the LT Seven-Month Check-In Report in Reporting2You.
A Membership Committee Member who has a good rapport with the Member should conduct the feedback session.
Setting a date for a conversation with the Member – The Membership Committee Member forwards the Member Traffic Lights to the Member before the conversation.

At the Chapter Success Meeting, the Membership Committee Member gives a brief report about the results of the discussion to the other Members. From this discussion, the following can be discussed:
Creating a game plan to incorporate feedback and other action items from feedback
Decide if the Member should be put on probation for performance
Decide if the Member should be declined upon the next renewal, notify the Region Office for approval
