Accountability Letters

  • Accountability Letters are sent from the BNI® Tampa Portal (https://portal.bnitampa.com).

  • These letters must be sent out equally to all Members. There are NO exceptions

  • Do not alter the BNI® Accountability Letters. They have been approved by the BNI® Global Support Team and legal department.

  • Always use the email address for the recipient found in BNI Connect®

  • When sending any Accountability Letters, they must be sent using the BNI® Tampa Portal (https://portal.bnitampa.com).

Timing Is Everything!

Accountability Letters for attendance are now automated, and the entry of PALMS data is VITAL. Accountability Letters for absences rolling off are emailed as well, so every Member will know exactly where they are with their attendance

  • Accountability Letter #01 Classification Conflict

  • Accountability Letter #02 Not a Good Fit

Letters for Non-Attendance

Letters for Probation

  • Accountability Letter #07 Probation: Lack of Participation

  • Accountability Letter #08 Probation: Time-Keeping

Letter for Opening a Classification

  • Accountability Letter #10 Opening a Classification for BNI® Policy, Code of Ethics, or Member Activity Violation

Letter for Declining a Membership Renewal Application

Resignation Before 4th Absence

Members wishing to resign in good standing must do so no later than the Chapter meeting the week before their 4th absence. Members resigning between meetings, during the week leading up to the 4th absence, without ensuring a substitute attends in their place will be terminated with no Certificate of Credit.
